Personal project inspired by my years of working in the hospitality industry. I wanted to create a restaurant brand that not only served high quality, delicious food, but also took great steps to caring for the planet. The result of which – a zero waste, not-for-profit restaurant using sustainably sourced ingredients only.
Aleta (translation: little winged one) delves into the world of the endangered Hawaiian Honeycreeper, one of many endangered species due to climate change. I used these beautiful birds as inspiration for the brand identity.
